East Midlands flights to Goa proving popular
06/03/2008
East Midlands Airport has announced that its new direct service to Goa, launched this month, is proving to be a hit with its customers.
The service, which First Choice Holidays will be providing from East Midlands until April 17th, has already seen 99 per cent of flight seats snapped up in the first month.
Goa represents the airport's first Indian Ocean destination and First Choice Holidays are currently offering seven and 14-night breaks to the city.
Caroline Plant, director of marketing and communications for East Midlands Airport, commented: "We have had an overwhelming response to the introduction of this service.
"To only have ten seats left for the first month of service is a great achievement for a new destination. We are delighted that people from the region are keen to sample this unique location.
"The new service is incredibly popular and holidaymakers will have to act swiftly if they are to book their place to fly from East Midlands and enjoy everything that Goa has to offer."
