New Exeter Airport catering facility set to open
23/03/2008
Passengers flying from Exeter International Airport this Easter will benefit from a new airside catering facility.
Over £300,000 has been invested in a new Caffe Ritazza, which is located in the airport's departure lounge and covers an area of 2,000 square metres.
Exeter Airport's Caffe Ritazza has seating for 75 people and will offer an "authentic Italian espresso-based" coffee menu as well as a wide selection of hot and cold snacks.
The facility was built in just four weeks, in time for Easter passengers.
Jamie Christon, the deputy managing director of Exeter International Airport, commented: "The Caffe Ritazza outlets are in over 40 international airports across the world and we are delighted that Select Service Partner, who manage all our catering outlets, have chosen to invest in Exeter Airport.
"We can now provide our passengers with great-tasting coffee and delicious fresh food in an inviting and modern setting."
