EasyJet starts three new routes at Liverpool AirportEasyJet has launched new routes from Liverpool Airport after increasing the number of aircraft it operates from the travel hub.

The carrier has commenced services to Naples, Bordeaux and Dubrovnik in Croatia, all new routes to the Merseyside airport.

Carly Brear, EasyJet UK commercial manager, said: "We've listened to customer feedback and are confident our three newest routes will be a huge success, continuing to expand the choice for our customers in the north of England."

The move boosts the number of routes from Liverpool offered by the airline to 21, making the north-west airport its busiest operation outside Luton.

Meanwhile, British Airways has announced plans to launch new flights to Egypt and the Maldives later in October.

The carrier will run three flights per week to Sharm El Sheikh and Male from Gatwick Airport.
