Download Festival 'will cause delays at East Midlands Airport'

Passengers using East Midlands Airport this weekend have been warned to expect heavy traffic as a regional music festival takes place.
Download Festival at Donington Park will cause motorways and major roads to slow down from Friday June 13th to Sunday June 15th as tens of thousands of music fans flock to the site.
East Midlands Airport surface access manager Colleen Hempson said: "With the extra cars on the road this weekend, we are advising people to allow even more time in planning their journey to and from the airport.
"We don't want people to miss their flight or aircraft to be delayed, so the more prepared you can be, the better."
The rock and metal festival takes place at the racing circuit adjacent to the airport, a fact that could also cause some noise pollution at the travel hub.
Heading the three-day bonanza will be Faith No More, Slipknot and Def Leppard, along with dance legends the Prodigy.
