Low cost airline Ryanair has announced a new route from Stansted Airport to Oslo in Norway.
Commencing on October 1st, the service will run twice a day, making the Norwegian capital the 147th air hub served by the carrier.
Speaking on behalf of the airline, Laura McCormack said: "Ryanair is delighted to open this new route to Oslo (Rygge) from London Stansted.
"This twice-daily service will allow us to bring more competition and the continued lowest fares to the popular destination of Oslo."
Ms McCormack added that Ryanair hopes to add new destinations to its roster in the near future.
The carrier currently serves some 67 million passengers each year.
Ryanair will also launch new services to Alicante, Barcelona, Brussels (Charleroi), Bremen, and Milan (Bergamo) from the Norwegian capital this October.
