Ryanair announces five new services from Glasgow this winter

Low cost carrier Ryanair will begin four new routes from Glasgow Prestwick Airport this winter and one next year.
The airline will commence services to Alicante, Arrecife in Lanzarote, Las Palmas in Gran Canaria and Palma this October, as well as a new flight to Ibiza in March 2010.
Furthermore, the company has announced that it will increase the frequency of its services from Glasgow Prestwick to Faro in Portugal, Malaga and Tenerife South.
Ken O'Toole, Ryanair's director of new route development, commented: "All 11 sun routes are on sale now for flights till June 30th 2010, allowing passengers to book the guaranteed lowest fares for this winter and next summer.
"This expansion will now ensure the lowest fares to the sun for Scottish consumers."
The airline similarly announced that it will simultaneously begin five new routes from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Faro, Rzeszow in Poland and Bratislava in Slovakia.
Flight frequencies to Belfast, Alicante, Malaga, Riga and Wroclaw will also be increased.
