Newcastle Airport offers relaxation massages
Newcastle Airport has taken steps to ensure that passengers find their visit to the hub a relaxing one.
Passengers travelling through the facility can now benefit from the new bespoke Relaxanation service, which is used in Shiatsu and Acupressure to calm the body and mind.
The airport said in a release: "Whether your journey is for pleasure or business, travel adds to the existing stresses of everyday life.
"And non more so than for those who have a fear of flying."
The new service is recommended for those who flying makes anxious as the working of the muscles around the neck, shoulders and back is designed to soothe away anxieties.
Treatments last 10 to 30 minutes, use no oils or lotions and are received through clothing, administered by fully trained therapists.
Earlier this year, Newcastle Airport was praised for its timekeeping when it topped a table for punctuality, compiled by the Civil Aviation Authority.
