Ryanair adds new routes from JLA
06/08/2009
Ryanair has added to its flight capacity at Liverpool John Lennon Airport this autumn, giving travellers in the region more choice.
The low-cost carrier will begin services from the hub to Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Rzeszow (Poland) and Bratislava as of October 2009.
Ryanair's deputy head of sales and marketing, Dara Brady said: "These new routes are on sale now for flights until 30 March 2010, allowing passengers to book the guaranteed lowest fares over the winter."
She described the new destinations as "run routes" that will enable travellers to escape the gloomy British weather for sunnier climates.
The carrier will also increase the frequency of its current services to Alicante, Malaga, Riga and Wroclaw.
Last month, fellow low-cost airline WizzAir commenced a service from the Liverpool hub to Prague, which will operate three times a week.
