Heathrow launches staff-motivating scheme
08/08/2009
Heathrow Airport has launched a new scheme to incentivise its staff, which may improve the experience of passengers using the hub for passengers.
The WorldPoints is the UK's largest employee reward programme and will enable the airport's 94,000 staff to benefit from eating, drinking and shopping at Heathrow.
For every £1 they spend employees will be given a point, which they can then build up and exchange for monetary vouchers online.
Says Loyalty and CRM Manager Claire Burley: "Many Heathrow staff choose to shop at the airport in much the same way they would the high street, but with the added bonus of tax free prices.
"Now staff can enjoy an even better deal by collecting WorldPoints for every purchase and take advantage of the exclusive offers available to airport ID holders only."
Last month, it was announced that Aer Lingus will increase the frequency of its Shannon and London Heathrow route by adding a third scheduled daily service as of October 25th.
