Low-cost carrier Ryanair has announced that it will launch five new routes and increase the frequency of existing flights from Liverpool John Lennon Airport this winter.
Beginning in October, the airline will offer new services to Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Rzeszow, Bratislava and Faro, as well as upping the number of flights to Belfast, Alicante, Malaga, Riga and Wroclaw.
Dara Brady of Ryanair said: "Ryanair is delighted to announce five new sun routes and increased frequencies to and from Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
"These new routes are on sale now for flights until March 30th 2010, allowing passengers to book the guaranteed lowest fares over the winter."
Ryanair recently celebrated the route expansion by offering one million seats on flights across Europe for £1.
In other news, the airline is currently offering £5 flights to a number of destinations including Trieste, Rimini and Porto, its website states.
