Manchester Airport releases downloadable facility guide

Manchester Airport has released a new guide aimed at helping passengers find their way around the facility and locate key areas.

My Airport Guide is a free, downloadable guide and can be tailored towards each traveller's itinerary, including their flight times, check-in areas and security gates.

Andrew Harrison, commercial director at the airprot, commented: "We've listened to our customers and we know they want their whole journey, from the moment they leave home to when they finally board the plane, to involve the minimum of fuss.

"Out of this has come My Airport Guide. It's just the start for us - an ongoing process to improve the passenger experience from start to finish."

Some £80 million has been invested in Manchester Airport in the past two years, changing the passenger experience with new web-based booking services, express check-in and enhanced security.

Around 28 million people use the travel hub every year, its website states.
