Low-cost carrier Ryanair announced the launch of two new routes from Liverpool John Lennon Airport yesterday (August 18th).
The airline will offer new routes to Agadir in Morocco and Bremen in Germany as part of its winter schedule, which begins in October.
According to the company, the scheduled flights to Agadir will be the first service from the north-west travel hub to north Africa.
Robin Tudor of Peel Airports commented: "Liverpool continues to be an attractive option for airlines to develop their business here.
Ryanair's announcement today is great news for the airport and for passengers across the north-west."
The routes will run until March 2010 and can be booked from today (August 19th) until August 26th.
One way prices to Bremen and Agadir are £10 and £37 respectively.
Yesterday, the airline announced that it will also begin a new route to Malaga from Bristol International Airport from October.
