Flybe announces summer 2010 routesFlybe has revealed an early selection of the routes it will offer passengers in summer 2010.

The airline announced that it will run 466 flights per week from London Gatwick airport, as well as services from Exeter and Southampton airports.

Flybe's routes from Gatwick will connect it to domestic destinations including Belfast City, Aberdeen, Leeds Bradford, Newcastle, as well as Alicante, Faro, Palma Mallora, Salzburg, Geneva and many others.

Chief commercial officer Mike Rutter commented: "We anticipate our new summer sun routes will be very popular with passengers looking for the best deal possible for their holidays next year.

"Despite the economic challenges of the past 12 months, we have continued to grow and develop the airline to provide the most cost-effective, efficient and flexible service for passengers."

The carrier currently offers more than 190 routes that incorporate 35 airports in the UK and 30 in mainland Europe, its website notes.
