Thomson adds flight to Bristol Sharm El Sheikh route
24/08/2009
Thomson has announced that it will begin a third weekly flight to Egypt from Bristol Airport.
Beginning on December 20th, the route between Bristol and Sharm El Sheikh will operate on Sunday afternoons, on top of existing flights running on Mondays and Thursdays.
Sharm El Sheikh is a popular holiday destination among divers, beach lovers, nature enthusiasts and sun bathers.
Located on the Red Sea Riviera near the Sinai desert, the city offers bright blue seas and golden sands.
Passengers flying from Bristol Airport could be won over by the region's awe-inspiring coral reefs and nature reserves, as well as its sandy beaches and luxury hotels.
Meanwhile, last week (August 18th) Thomson announced that it would abandon charges for supplementary oxygen for disabled travellers.
The airline made the decision after lobbying from major disability charities such as the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign.
