Air Berlin announces Manchester to Paderborn routeAir Berlin has announced a new route from Manchester Airport to Paderborn.

Beginning on November 4th, the three-times weekly return service will depart at 20:00 GMT and arrive at 22:25.

Passengers flying with Air Berlin get a free baggage allowance of up to 20kg and free on-board service.

Titus Johnson, Air Berlin United Kingdom and Ireland country manager, commented: "While other airlines are cutting back, we are committed to continuing our current schedule to Manchester."

The flights will operate every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

Air Berlin also offers five non-stop flights from Stansted to Dusseldorf, Paderborn, Nuremberg, Hanover and Munster and operates flights to more than 129 destinations worldwide.

The Manchester Airports group is made up of Manchester, East Midlands, Bournemouth and Humberside airports and serves around 28 million travellers each year, its website notes.
