Thomson offers Around the World in 80 Days deals

Thomson has announced a new deal that could see customers benefit from deals on flights across the globe.

According to the carrier, it will guarantee savings of up to £80 for travellers booking tickets this weekend as part of its Around the World in 80 Deals campaign.

The tour is based on Phileas Fogg's famous international route and includes destinations in Africa, India, the Far East, Australia and the Caribbean.

City breaks are priced from £169 per person, while all-inclusive trips to the Red Sea cost £359 and Caribbean cruises cost £999.

Travellers who book tickets over the coming bank holiday weekend will also be automatically entered into a prize draw that could see them win a ticket to a London theatre production.

According to its website, Thomson is the only major travel company to be regulated by the Financial Services Authority for its travel insurance, underwritten by AXA.
