Bmibaby announces Manchester to Lourdes summer flights

Budget carrier Bmibaby has announced a new route from Manchester Airport to Lourdes in the south of France.
Beginning on April 30th 2010, the service is scheduled to run through the summer and could attract some 9,000 passengers, the airline reports.
The route will be priced at £37.99 one way and is expected to run until October 1st 2010.
Crawford Rix, Bmibaby managing director, said: "We are the only low cost carrier to offer flights from Manchester to Lourdes, so we are pleased we can offer the people of Manchester the chance to travel to an exciting new destination.
"We recently went on sale with 18 other destinations for summer 2010 from Manchester Airport, allowing our customers to plan ahead and secure the best deals for next year."
Earlier this year (June 17th), Bmibaby revealed that it will launch a new service from East Midlands Airport to Prague.
Beginning on December 4th and running until March 26th 2010, the flights to the Czech capital will run three times a week at a one-way price of £24.99.
