Jet2 has revealed that it will begin a new service from Blackpool to Jersey in summer 2010.
The route is the first of its kind from the Lancashire hub to the Channel Islands.
Beginning on May 28th, one-way tickets are priced at £29.99.
Jet2 boss Philip Meeson said: "This will be the first time that people have been able to fly to Jersey from Blackpool International and we are confident that this new route will be a great success.
"We are committed to offering our customers as much choice as possible when it comes to their holiday destination."
The carrier also offers flights to Faro, Malaga, Murcia, Alicante, Belfast and Majorca from Blackpool International Airport.
Last month (August), Jet2 revealed that it will run three new flights from Manchester Airport next year.
As part of the firm's new schedule, passengers will be able to travel to Kos, Gran Canaria and Venice.
