Flybe offers 50 per cent sale on winter tickets

Low-cost carrier Flybe is offering a 50 per cent discount on many of its flights from the UK, it has been revealed.

According to the carrier, tickets on selected flights booked before Wednesday (September 30th) for travel on or before December 31st are half price.

The deal includes tickets on popular routes from London Gatwick, Southampton and Manchester to Paris, Frankfurt, Dusseldorf and Avignon.

Chief commercial officer Mike Rutter said: "Our limited time seat sale, with prices cut by up to 50 per cent, is the perfect opportunity to bag a bargain flight to a host of British and European destinations.

"Flybe is continuing to take the lead in keeping Britain on the move."

In other news, the airline recently revealed its summer 2010 schedule, which will include 130 flights from Leeds Bradford Airport to Belfast, Aberdeen, Southampton and Exeter each week.

The carrier operates 190 routes that link airports in 13 European countries, its website states.
