The number of passengers taking flights between London and Copenhagen has risen in the past six months, it has been reported.
According to the Danish airport, services from the capital to Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and City airports saw a ten per cent rise in travellers in September compared with September 2008.
Some 1.5 million passengers fly from Copenhagen to London every year with easyJet, Norwegian Airlines and Sterling.
Carsten Nørland, vice president of aviation at Copenhagen Airport, said: "We are pleased to see that there are exceptions to the general decline in air transport.
"It is not least good for passengers to have a wider range of flights and fares to choose from."
Some 132,000 customers travelled from Copenhagen to London in September alone.
In related news, easyJet is set to launch a number of new services from its London bases.
From November 4th, the carrier will offer flights to Agadir, Porto, Cyprus, Sharm el Sheikh and Fuerteventura from £34.99.
