Birmingham International Airport launches winter schedule

Birmingham International Airport's winter schedule kicked off on Sunday (October 25th).
The travel hub started the new season with winter offers boasting sun, skiing and city breaks from major tour operators.
Hoping to satisfy both the leisure and business traveller alike, the airport's winter calendar features routes to 120 destinations throughout the world with airlines such as Air Malta, bmibaby, Aer Arann, easyJet and Emirates.
Its cheapest winter sun break leaves Birmingham for Lanzarote on November 19th and features two-star self-catered accommodation at £177 per person per week.
Meanwhile, the airport also connects the Midlands with a number of skiing destinations, including Chambery in the French Alps, where travellers can get three-star accommodation at Le Grand Chalet from January 9th 2010 for £301 per person per week.
Customers searching for last minute weekend breaks can also fly out to Benalmadena in Malaga on November 6th for £216 per person per week.
Other destinations served by Birmingham International Airport include Guernsey, Porto, Biarritz, Bern, Dusseldorf and Oslo.
