Ryanair has announced a new deal that will allow up to 10,000 passengers to travel with their skiing equipment for free.
As part of the carrier's winter programme, it will allow the first 10,000 travellers who book a ski flight before Wednesday (November 11th) to bring their skis on board at no extra cost, effectively saving them £80 each.
The airline offers a number of services to ski destinations like Turin, Grenoble and Lourdes from UK airports such as Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Liverpool.
Ryanair chief executive Stephen McNamara commented: "Ryanair continues to cut the cost of ski trips by delivering Europe's guaranteed lowest fares and now we will carry 10,000 passengers' skis for free - helping them save even more."
Ticket prices on ski flights with the carrier start from £14.99 one way, including tax and surcharges.
In total, the company boasts 50 weekly flights from eight British airports to snowy retreats as part of its winter ski programme 2009-10.
Ryanair is currently offering one million one-way tickets for travel between now and Monday (November 9th) at £5.
Destinations available include Rodez, Bratislava, Bremen, Pisa and Linz.
