Low-cost airline Ryanair has announced a number of new routes from four UK airports.

The carrier revealed yesterday (November 19th) it will begin ten new services from February 2010.

Passengers will now have the option to visit Gdansk, Palma de Mallorca, Venice, Faro and Valencia from Bristol International Airport, Rimini, Lodz and Trapani from Liverpool John Lennon Airport, Tampere from Edinburgh Airport and Carcassonne from Glasgow Prestwick Airport.

Mr McNamara added that its new services will carry an additional 400,000 passengers each year and could provide 400 new jobs.

The airline is also extending its Christmas seat sale until midnight tonight (November 20th), offering a maximum of 500,000 seats at £1 for travel in late December.

In other news, the carrier hopes to raise €110,000 (£99,000) for children's disability charity Kids through the sale of its 2010 Cabin Crew Charity Calender.
