Canadian Affair has announced it plans to increase the frequency of its flights from the UK to Toronto in summer 2010.
According to the carrier, it will add three weekly services between Manchester International Airport and Toronto Pearson International Airport for its summer schedule.
The move will add an extra 10,000 seats on flights between the two cities over the summer, a 35 per cent increase on summer 2009 figures.
Kathryn Munro, Canadian Affair communication and marketing director, said: "We are thrilled to announce this additional capacity for summer 2010.
"At a time when many other operators and airlines are cutting back, we are certain that this investment will be welcomed with open arms."
Return fares between Manchester and Toronto start at £258, including tax and charges.
Canadian Affair also operates twice-weekly flights from Manchester to Calgary and Vancouver.
The airline had a 2009 summer schedule capacity of around 400,000 seats on 60 direct flights, linking nine UK, two Irish and eight Canadian airports.
