A singer-songwriter has been entertaining passengers at Manchester Airport, it has been reported.

Ben Montague, who has performed on the same line-up as the likes of Roger Daltrey, has been strumming his guitar at the air hub's terminal two departure building, BBC News reports.

A group of around 50 passengers watched him perform on Wednesday (December 2nd).

Mr Montague told the news source: "I have played my own songs, but also a few covers.

"It's been a real challenge, but people have been really receptive so far."

The musician intends to move north to Edinburgh and Glasgow airports before returning to London for more concerts.

Can't Hold Me Down, the guitarist's first single, was playlisted on BBC Radio 2 for five weeks and he once performed at Silverstone racetrack on the same line-up as Roger Daltrey and Nick Mason in front of an audience of 18,000.

The singer-songwriter has just completed his debut album, according to his Twitter page.
