TV comedian Justin Lee Collins has recorded a welcome message for passengers at Bristol International Airport.

The West Country celebrity's voice can be heard as travellers pass a yellow hazard cone in the passport control area of the international arrivals building.

Recorded during a recent visit to the airport, the message states: "Welcome to Bristol Airport. Please mind the stairs."

Jacqui Mills of Bristol International Airport commented: "Justin Lee Collins is a great ambassador for Bristol and the region and we are delighted that visitors to the city will be welcomed by his voice when they arrive at Bristol International."

The comedian is perhaps best known for his involvement in channel four's Sunday Night Project alongside Alan Carr.

In other news, budget carrier Flybe announced last month (November 23rd) that it will launch a route between Bristol and the Isle of Man.

Starting on March 28th 2010, the service will be operated by a new Bombardier Q-400 aircraft on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
