A new service from Exeter Airport to Turkey has been confirmed for 2010.
Thomas Cook is set to offer flights to the south-western city of Antalya from May 2010 after coming to a deal with the airport.
Services to Sharm El Sheikh, Hannover, Monastir and Fuerteventura were added to Exeter Airport earlier this year.
Airport managing director Jamie Christon commented that he expects the non-Euro route to be "well supported".
"With our customers looking for value for money, holidaying outside the EU has never been as popular. The list of sun destinations from Exeter has never been as strong and am sure 2010 will be a great year for the airport," Mr Christon added.
Thomas Cook India managing director Madhavan Menon recently told the Economic Times that 2009's festive holiday season has already seen an improvement on last year.
Mr Menon also added that the demand for holiday package deals is growing once again after a lull in interest from travellers.
