Budget airline Ryanair is to run extra flights from the UK to France to help travellers return home this Christmas.
The carrier announced on Monday (December 21st) it will run special flights between London Stansted and Paris Beauvais airports tomorrow to help people stranded by heavy snowfall.
Eurostar operations ground to a halt on Monday due to the snow and many travellers are opting for a different mode of transport ahead of Christmas Eve.
Stephen McNamara of Ryanair said: "Ryanair will help Eurostar passengers stranded in London and Paris to return home in time for Christmas with rescue flights for £99 one way including taxes and charges.
"Seats are limited so passengers should book as soon as possible as these seats are likely to be snapped up."
Other travel companies are also offering special fares for those left behind by busy Eurostar operations, including easyJet and Flybe.
Passengers can keep up to date with live flight information and weather disruption on Ryanair's website.
