Holidays to Thailand and Australia 'will be cheap in 2010'
By James Wilson.
A long-haul travel company has commented that Thailand will offer the best deals for holidaymakers in 2010.
According to Travelmood, value-added deals will make the country cheap to visit, while booking in advance will also slash prices.
The company also tipped Australia as a popular choice for the New Year due to relatively inexpensive travel.
Rad Sofronijevic, managing director of Travelmood, said many travellers booked their holidays at the last minute in 2009 "largely due to the economic climate".
"In response to that, the hotels and airlines in many of the destinations we programme are offering superb deals for customers who book early," he added.
Travelmood is offering flights with Eva Air from London Heathrow to Khao Lak and accommodation at the four-star La Flora for £999 per person for two weeks.
On top of this, customers who book before the end of February 2010 will also receive a ten per cent discount on their accommodation.
Travelmood is an ATOL protected company that has been operating for more than 25 years.
