Last minute Tunisia deals from Gatwick or Heathrow

Travellers looking for a last minute bargain could be interested in a deal being offered by Wigmore Holidays.

According to the travel operator, it is offering seven nights of accommodation for the price of five for individuals who book to stay at the five-star Residence in Cotes de Carthage in Tunisia between January 3rd and March 31st 2010.

Based on two people sharing, the price of catered accommodation with return scheduled flights from London Gatwick or Heathrow is £1,010 per person.

It also includes private transfers and a pocket guide of the region.

The operator states: "The opportunity to relax and unwind in the hotel's own state-of-the-art 'thalassotherapy' spa or to play a round or two of golf on the hotel's own championship golf course is also available to guests."

Customers are also treated to complimentary flowers and wine.

In related news, Gatwick Airport officials are currently advising passengers travelling to the US to expect additional security measures to be undertaken before they board the aircraft.
