A travel operator is offering couples booking a seven-night break in Egypt a discount of £238.

W&O Travel has announced that all bookings for Sharm El Sheikh made before January 26th for travel before February 12th will be eligible for the discount.

The price for seven nights based on two sharing is £376 and includes return flights from London Gatwick Airport, as well as transfers.

Sharm El Sheikh is located on the Red Sea and often proves popular with scuba divers and holidaymakers alike.

Travellers will stay at the Ritz Carlton, which boasts luxurious features such as a swimming pool with waterfalls and a lazy river, a fitness centre and a spa.

On top of this, amateurs interested in getting involved can take scuba diving or snorkelling lessons at the hotel.

Sharm El Sheikh is also known for its yachting, casinos, discos and desert safari outings, the tourist board website states.
