London is the most popular holiday destination for travellers from the US and Canada, it has been claimed.
According to figures gathered by Skyscanner, the city is the most searched destination in 2010 among North Americans, beating popular domestic cities.
Individuals travelling from the US to London Heathrow or Gatwick airports could be interested in Red Carnation Hotels' promotional offers, which include reductions for seniors, couples and families at its six London hotels.
The company's five-star Milestone Hotel was voted the best place to stay in London in the Conde Nast Traveller Gold List 2010.
Families of four or more are able to take a second room half price, while children up to the age of 12 can stay and eat for free at Red Carnation Hotels.
On top of this, guests over the age of 60 are entitled to 20 per cent off the best available rates and can also opt for breakfast and a complimentary item, such as a shopping voucher or bottle of champagne.
London has a great deal to offer travellers from the other side of the Atlantic, including theatre, music, food, sport and sightseeing.
