Cheap airline easyJet has revealed it will launch new flights from London Gatwick later this year.

Serviced by an Airbus 320, the four new routes will link the major airport with Turkey and the Greek Islands in spring.

Customers will be able to travel to Antalya, Kos, Crete and Zakynthos from the end of May.

The move will take the total number of easyJet aircraft based at London Gatwick to 41 and its number of routes to 83.

Priced at £41.99 one way including tax and surcharges, the new routes will operate three or four days a week.

The carrier recently announced three new services from London Gatwick to Dusseldorf, Bordeaux and Hamburg, starting next month (February).

Individuals travelling to Zakynthos might want to go online to research their destination, which the airline describes as having "a laid-back atmosphere, relaxed rustic villages as well as lively resorts and a fantastic nightlife".

The company has also revealed that services from Bristol International Airport to Bodrum, Hurghada, Cyprus, Tenerife and Dalaman will begin in the summer season.
