Qatar Airways offers Heathrow business travellers free upgrade

Qatar Airways has announced a new promotion aimed at business travellers flying from London Heathrow Airport.
To mark the new year, the carrier has revealed it will offer all of its business passengers the chance to upgrade to first class when travelling from London to Muscat, Dubai, Kuwait, Bahrain and Abu Dhabi.
The complementary upgrade means more people could have access to the airline's award-winning first class services.
Rachel Finn, UK country manager for Qatar Airways, commented: "It's a great way to showcase our entire product to the UK business traveller.
"2010 looks like a promising year and we are keeping business travellers flying in ultimate style and luxury."
The offer applies to flights booked on or before March 31st for travel on or before March 31st and is subject to availability.
In related news, Heathrow Airport's on-time performance rose by 11 per cent in the third quarter of 2009, while the average flight delay was down from 16 minutes to 11 minutes.
