Continental to expand London-New York route

Continental Airlines has announced it will increase the frequency of services between London Heathrow Airport and New York's Newark Liberty International Airport in 2010.
According to the carrier, it will add a fourth daily flight next month (March) and a fifth in October.
Jeff Smisek, Continental chairman, president and chief executive, said: "As the leading airline in the New York market, we are excited about introducing these schedule and product improvements for our New York-London travellers.
"New York-Heathrow is a flagship route for Continental."
The chief executive also announced that the carrier will install new flatbed seats in the BusinessFirst section of all of its aircrafts from June 1st.
According to the company, the seats made their operational debut in November 2009 and allow for a 180-degree reclining position and six feet six inches of sleeping space.
Continental also operates a twice-daily route from London Heathrow to Houston.
It serves some 67 million passengers each year.
