Ryanair announces 30% discount on all flightsBy Mike Booth.

Low-cost carrier Ryanair has announced it will offer a 30 per cent discount on flights during February and March.

The deal, which runs until midnight tomorrow (February 4th), applies to all seats on all routes from the UK.

Passengers wishing to benefit from the discount must pay with MasterCard prepaid, forego priority boarding, fly with hand luggage only and check in online.

Daniel de Carvalho of Ryanair said: "Only Ryanair sells Europe's lowest fares with a no fuel surcharge guarantee.

"In addition to our lowest fares we also deliver the number one on-time performance across over 1,000 routes."

Meanwhile, the airline is set to open a new base at Leeds-Bradford Airport and launch 14 new routes from the travel hub in March.

In addition to existing services to Barcelona, Alicante and Dublin, the company will operate flights to destinations such as Palma, Pisa, Venice, Krakow, Malta, Limoges, Faro and Carcassonne.

Announcing the news last year, Ryanair estimated the additional routes could create and sustain 1,000 local jobs at Leeds-Bradford Airport.
