Low-cost carrier Ryanair has opened a new passenger lounge at London Stansted Airport, it has been revealed.
The pay-as-you-go facility costs £17.50 per visit and boasts a number of features that could entice business travellers.
Passengers can access wireless internet, a scanner, printer and fax machine, as well as luxury seating in a comfortable environment.
The lounge also features a bar serving drinks and freshly prepared food.
Phil Cameron, who designed the lounge, commented: "Stansted is a major airport with discerning passengers creating their own travel itineraries.
"We are excited to be the first company to serve these passengers."
Around 60 per cent of passengers flying from Stansted Airport do so with Ryanair, he added.
It is the second Number 1 Lounge to be opened at the airport, the other having welcomed its first visitors in satellite one in September 2009.
The lounges can be booked online in advance.
Some 44 per cent of Stansted passengers arrive at the airport on public transport, the highest figure for any UK airport.
