Couples wanting to get away this valentine's weekend could choose one of a number of routes from Stansted Airport.
According to the airport, popular short-haul city destinations include Rome, Verona and Venice, while those who enjoy sun and sea holidays could choose the Canary Islands or Turkey.
On top of this, skiers and snowboarders looking to take to the slopes this weekend might look at flights to snow destinations such as Saas Fee, Zermat and Verbier with easyJet, Ryanair and AirAsia X.
Mark Souter, Stansted head of airline relations, commented that the airport has announced ten new summer routes which could allow an individual to surprise their partner with a holiday later in the year.
"For the undecided romantics out there, with over 140 destinations across 32 countries to choose from, it's just a matter of deciding where to take your valentine from Stansted this weekend," he added.
Other destinations include Bari, Belfast City, Biarritz, Bilbao and Bodrum.
According to its website, Stansted Airport features the largest number of scheduled European destinations in the world.
