Thomas Cook and Going Places offer early summer deals

Thomas Cook and Going Places are offering major savings on holidays booked this week for travel in May and June.
Going Places is guaranteeing a £50 discount on all holidays taking place in the lead-up to summer, while some individuals could save as much as £200.
The company is offering package holidays that boast three and four-star accommodation and can help families and individuals escape the stress of home.
Popular destinations include the Canary Islands, Egypt, Turkey and Tunisia and start at £374 per person.
The company stated: "Going Places is also offering thousands of free kids places, free meals for kids, special offers for single parents and discounts for families with pre-school age children to take advantage of."
Its flights take off from a number of UK airports, including London Gatwick, Manchester, Glasgow and London Luton.
The company also pledges to beat all high street holiday prices by £1, based on an all-inclusive package with two adults sharing.
Thomas Cook operates 800 high street stores and employs around 19,000 workers.
