Easyjet will launch flights from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to the Isle of Man this year, it has been revealed.
Aimed at business workers and individuals visiting family, the route could serve 70,000 travellers in its first year, the carrier states.
The service will be provided by a new Airbus 319 and will run six times per week from May 21st.
Easyjet now offers a total of 27 flight destinations from Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
Paul Simmons, UK general manager at EasyJet, commented: "We are delighted to be expanding our network to the Isle of Man.
"As the UK's largest airline, it is a logical step to extend our services and connect the island with the north-west."
One way adult fares begin at £22.99, including taxes and surcharges.
In other news, the carrier recently announced (February 8th) that it is now serving Starbucks VIA Ready Brew on all of its flights after a successful trial on selected flights.
