Flybe to launch Manchester to Bournemouth route

UK domestic airline Flybe has announced the launch of its first ever route to Bournemouth Airport.
According to the carrier, the Manchester to Bournemouth service will appeal to both business and leisure customers and could give travellers quick and easy access to the north of England.
Starting on May 27th, the flights will begin at £24.99 one-way and will run six times per week.
Flybe chief commercial officer Mike Rutter commented: "Our new Bournemouth route will be especially convenient to those living and working in the more westerly counties of the south coast, so extending further our extensive regional presence."
Bournemouth Airport managing director Rob Goldsmith welcomed the new "direct link to the north".
Flights will depart from Manchester at 10:40 GMT on weekdays and 10:15 on Sundays, returning from Bournemouth at 12:05 and 11:40 respectively.
Customers will also have the choice to upgrade to premium economy travel, which offers access to the carrier's executive lounges.
Flybe offers 184 routes in 13 countries.
