Cheapflights launches price comparison site

Passengers travelling from UK airports such as Manchester and Birmingham could be interested in a new flight search engine that could help them find the cheapest deals.

Zugu is a meta search that allows customers to compare flight prices to find the most affordable and relevant to their criteria.

The website scans prices from a number of airlines and presents them in a simple, concise way, allowing users to set airline, budget and schedule preferences.

Hugo Burge, Cheapflights media chairman, commented that the new service would help travellers "find great fares on specific flights".

"Zugu's sleek design and powerful search technology helps consumers zero in with precision on the low fares that are specifically relevant for them," he added.

The website boasts the largest number of online travel agency partners and a good balance of low-cost carriers and major airlines.

In other news, Cheapflights has changed its name to Cheapflights Media with the launch of Zugu.
