Footwear retailer Crocs has recorded high sales figures at its duty free store at Manchester Airport's terminal one building, the Moodie Report states.
The shop opened to the public after Christmas 2009 and is located within the airport's World Duty Free (WDF) Biza store.
It was set up as part of a pilot project with WDF agreed in Cannes last year.
Crocs travel retail manager Nico Veenendaal told the news source: "With families watching their budgets when traveling, it shows that Crocs is an interesting addition in the fashion offering and appeal to the leisure traveller."
Alex Wilson, WDF head of category for fashion accessories, souvenirs and technology, added that a similar initiative could be set up within the company's Bristol Airport store when it opens next month.
The retailer offers male, female and unisex footwear in 40 different styles and colours from its Manchester Airport base.
Some 22 million journeys begin or end at the airport every year.
