Regional carrier Flybe has confirmed that it will increase the capacity of some of its routes this month to compensate for industrial action by British Airways (BA).
According to the airline, it will offer more seats on flights from London Gatwick, Jersey, Southampton, Aberdeen, Dusseldorf.
BA staff voted to strike for three days from March 20th and for four days from March 27th last week.
Members of the Unite union are currently in dispute with the carrier over proposed changes to working practices.
The action is expected to hit travellers at Aberdeen and London Heathrow airports hardest.
Flybe commented that it was adding to its services in order to offer customers "a reliable and great value alternative" to BA.
A spokeman for BA was unable to reveal whether any of its services would be in operation on the strike days.
Other alternative routes from Aberdeen to London are being offered by BMI and EasyJet.
