The popularity of Spain as a holiday destination among Brits is waning, it has been claimed.
According to figures released by Skyscanner, the country is still the most popular overall but has slipped compared to this time last year.
While London is currently the most searched for destination for travel over Easter, it is closely followed by Malaga in second place and Barcelona in fourth.
Passengers travelling from UK airports such as London Luton might also be interested to note that Amsterdam and New York rank highly among Brits.
Skyscanner co-founder Barry Smith commented: "While [Spain] is still the most popular country for an Easter break, it seems to be falling from favour.
"New York has risen massively and we're seeing less well known destinations such as Marrakech and Istanbul rise in popularity."
Other favourite destinations include Rome, Dublin, Paris and Geneva.
Skyscanner offers flights from a number of other UK airports, such as Blackpool, Bournemouth and East Midlands.
