Exeter Airport 'set to serve 40,000 travellers this Easter'

Some 10,000 passengers are expected to travel through the gates at Exeter Airport this Easter weekend.
According to airport bosses, destinations such as Dalaman, Antalya and Tunisia offer good value for money and could attract thousands of travellers looking to get away during the school holiday.
Nearly 40,000 people will use the air hub during the two-week break.
Exeter Airport managing director Jamie Christon said: "The current spate of wet weather which looks to be continuing into the weekend and the temptation of our new routes with excellent offers are encouraging people to get away this Easter."
He added that the airport also expects domestic flights to the south-west to increase as holidaymakers look to avoid congestion on the UK's roads.
Other international destinations that could entice customers flying from Exeter Airport include Madeira, Malaga, Cyprus, Lanzarote and Tenerife.
In other news, it was recently confirmed that low-cost carrier Flybe is offering 21 routes from the airport as part of its summer 2010 schedule.
