Bmi has unveiled a newly refurbished lounge for passengers travelling from London Heathrow Airport's terminal one building.
Open to travelers who hold gold or silver diamond club cards, as well as Bmi frequent flyers and flexible economy and economy extra customers, the London Room shares a similar design to the airline's Great British Lounge, with black flock wallpaper and mirrored glass surfaces.
Customers can log on to PCs in the lounge's improved work area or access a wireless network throughout the whole facility.
The kitchen serves breakfast until 11:00 GMT, followed by snacks throughout the day and afternoon tea at 16:00.
Dominic Paul, Bmi chief operating officer, said: "We are delighted to be re-opening our UK and Ireland lounge as the London Room.
"We hope our customers enjoy the style, design and tastes of London as they pass through on their travels."
Travellers in a rush to meet a flight can get hold of 'coffee to go' in coffee shop-style cups, while those who plans to relax can also buy British sweets such as lemon sherbets and blackjacks.
London Heathrow Airport offers links to around 180 international destinations in more than 90 countries.
