In 2009, 70 per cent of the company's north-west flights took place at Manchester airport.
Emily Williams, NetJets Europe vice-president, said: "Business in Manchester is doing well and we are seeing the benefits of putting more focus on the city.
"We are looking at the regions to grow the business and are focusing on entrepreneurs based outside London."
According to the news source, the company is particularly interested in forging business deals with firms in the engineering, technology and construction sectors.
NetJets aims to be completely carbon neutral by 2012, its website notes.
