EL AL Israel Airlines has celebrated its first anniversary of operations at London Luton Airport.
According to the carrier, its daily Tel Aviv route has been a "resounding success", serving a total of 90,000 passengers since it launched.
Passengers reportedly appreciated the range of Kosher food made available by the airline, while the airport's priority lane and fast-track security options also appeal to travellers.
London Luton Airport airline manager Simon Harley said the facility is looking forward to a "long and successful" future with EL AL Israel Airlines.
Uri Danor, UK and Northern Europe chief executive for the carrier, commented: "The airport has proved popular with our passengers and we will continue to work with the airport to provide the best possible service to our passengers."
In other news, EL AL Israel Airlines made history in March when it operated the first Boeing 777-200 aircraft at London Luton Airport on the Tel Aviv route.
The twin engine aircraft increased daily seating capacity on the service by almost 50 per cent.
