Airport media specialist Eye has been awarded the advertising rights to Stansted and Gatwick Airports, it has been revealed.
The company reports that it has been appointed to the airports in order to deliver "a fresh new approach" to the sales and marketing of advertising media at the hubs.
Its media portfolio now contacts 84 million passengers every year, almost 40 per cent of the entire UK travel market.
Jeremy Corfield, Eye Fly global director, commented that the company now works at three of the four largest UK airports, since it also has a contract with Manchester Airport.
"Eye's partnership with Stansted and Gatwick Airports will see their media offering elevated to a new standing in the aviation sector," Mr Corfield said.
"No other media company can command such a combination of audience reach and geographical coverage of flyers," he added.
Eye also operates at Belfast International, East Midlands, Cardiff, Humberside and Bournemouth Airports.
The company also supplies media to shopping centres, higher education institutes and roadside billboards.
